Tasks

We are looking for a live-in carer to support an 92 years old lady, who lives with two cats on a 2-week on, 2-week off rotation (it is negotiable), on a self-employed basis, in Manchester.

Laurance is a French lady who moved to Manchester 30 years ago. She suffered a heart-attack 10 years ago and has always had carers with her since then. She has now early signs of dementia, and realatives would prefer someone who encourages her to keep her mind and memory active. She enjoys doing Sudoku, rosswords and puzzles. Most of her direct family are in UK too and willing to support the carer facilitating regular breaks and visits. 

She is quite sociable and needs prompting washing and dressing, medications, etc. 

Tasks include house-keeping, preparing meals, supervision with personal care, hygiene, general supervision and companionship, encouraging her to keep her mind active and short walks during the day.
